Subsidy and government support

Professional support in grant applications
When a government provides subsidies to private organizations, they have to take European legislation on government grants into account. There is always the risk that the envisaged subsidy qualifies as unlawful government support. Our lawyers advise authorities on government support issues and take a proactive approach towards finding ways in which subsidies can be granted without breaking the rules of government support.

We advise both authorities and companies on the interpretation of legislation in the General Administrative Law Act, the issues involved if the recipient of a subsidy acquires wealth and the termination of subsidy relationships. In addition, we can conduct your administrative objection and appeal proceedings with regard to subsidy matters. Furthermore, we have extensive consultancy experience in ESF subsidy applications and conducting legal proceedings concerning ESF subsidies.
